In kendo, posture and feet positions are the foundation. If you have a bad posture and bad feet positions, you cannot have a good kamae (chudan, jodan and nito). Depending on your body shape, you might have your feet wider apart and so forth but I am sharing some ideas for adult learners or later starters.
