“Like This? I want to know if I'm doing it right or not."
I know how you feel. You want to double check so you are doing it right. But what if I tell you that's not the right way to learn
kendo?
You need to duplicate what your instructor just showed you, not once, not twice but until your instructor actually sees what you're capable or incapable of after you've just learned something.
Focus on copying what your instructor just showed you. And instead of saying “like this?”
every time you learn something, you need to show what you learned multiple times until your instructor tells you something.
Then they can add to or subtract from your movements. They can only fix you when you show what you can do. And they can give you compliment when you show what you can do.
