It's been already one month since the beginning of the year! Let's keep going and make this year better and better!!!
Can you tell the difference between fake and real? It depends, doesn't it?
OK. So can you tell the differences between the good kendo equipment from bad one? And can you tell what makes equipment good or bad?
I have been writing about kendogu. I visited Shogun Kendogu and learned a lot about what makes equipment good.

Please do go to these page and watch the video! You will learn a lot and will find it worth taking time to learn!

Have you heard of tenouchi before? If you haven't you can learn about it at "Terminology: Tenouchi". Even if you heard about it and know about it, please keep reading. That is THAT important.

Are you grabbing your sword correctly? Please check your tenouchi right now. You don't need a sword to check.

Your tenouchi is to cut not to hit. There is a huge difference.

If you just want to hit a target, your tenouchi isn't really important. But if you want to follow the "the application of the principles of the Katana (sword)", your grip has to be "to cut", doesn't it?

Check your grip first. Then watch the video below.
Learn from the Best
You might have watched this but unless it is recent, watch this again. Understanding the concept and process makes a huge difference in your kendo.

Hope you learn a lot from this rare video.
Thank you!
