The Reason You Cannot Improve...

Hi! Hope this finds you well.

 

Almost 2 more months until the year 2014 will end. How have you been doing with your kendo?

 

I am so sure that there are a lot of things you want to improve and I have some tips for you. That is… to know… what you…

 

NEED to do! NOT want to do.

 

This is very important for us to know. If you are after what you WANT to do, you will get lost. It is always what you NEED to work on.

 

Kendo is simple like that. Very straight forward. You need to know what you need to work on so you can improve quickly. That is why everyone including grand masters in kendo go back to the basics when they are in a slump. That is why I have been emphasizing on the basics of kendo and promoting kihon (basics) based kendo.

 

Always, always go back to the basics.
